Sipowitz, now that was a good show before the right on brigade got a toehold in it and then took over. Great theme tune as well.

I believe that he held the rights to the stories which is why he played Rebus originally.
One of my favourite detectives, Jimmy Perez in Shetland wasn't mentioned, wonderful series, another of Ann Cleeves series of stories. Some excellent others missing, Dalgleish, Dalzeith and Pascoe, Sarah Lund in The Killing.
