due to these unprecedented times
with covid 19 putting a huge financial burden on our economy
with covid 19 preventing proper trade negotiations and stopping proper dialogue
we have taken the division to postpone all brexit plans for the foreseeable
and will start again in five years time with a proposed new referendum following the next general election
Brexit has happened. The UK is in an interim period while a trade deal is negotiated with the EU (or not). Come the New Year we will trade with the EU and the rest of the world under different arrangements.
Think the way Boris is negotiating, all you Brexiteers will be on your hands and knees next year, begging to remain, or rejoin, whichever way you look at it.
“Remain” is not a relevant term.
“Rejoin” it would have to be.
What should have happened was to put the Trade deal talks on hold.
But probably too late for that now. The suspicion is Johnson thinks all the damage can be blamed on the virus. Tho how that will help politically I don’t know. People aren’t going to vote Tory at the next election just because they don’t think Brexit is to blame.
There are four years until the next election. That is a long time. Postponing it would bring it closer to an election and I dont think any Party would want to risk anything closer since it will take time to 'bed'.
And as pointed out above. We have left already, we have no MEP's in the EU Parliament anymore it is just the trade left to sort out. Or not.
leets us not discuss manchester bombs
(I didnt realised terrorists in prison had phone Salman abedi)
or Brum stabbings - not sudanese with a name like Zephaniah
or the Brexit meetings in London
or the 2 30 at Kempton Park
let us instead expend breath on a fantasy
this HAS to be AB
