I have been watching this years festivals on TV and a lot of the performances have been excellent, and was wondering if any of you had been to festival this year, and if so who was the best performances by? and who were the worst performances by?

On the tv the best performers so far seemed to be Kaiser Chiefs & i have just watched Muse at Reading and they looked fantastic! Arctic Monkeys and Franz ferdinand seemed to put on a good show aswell.
one of my friends is at Leeds this weekend and said in one of his texts that Placebo were a bit dissappointing.

Well, I went to the V Festival in Chelmsford this year best performances were Beck, Kasabian and Groove Armada for me.

Unfortunately I couldn't make it to Reading this year but have been watching the coverage also. I'm not too keen on Kaiser Chiefs so I didn't watch them but I did see Muse and I have to agree, they were fantastic! Shame they switched to Primal Scream towards the end though. Yeah Yeah Yeahs looked good too on Friday.

I usually go to festivals (since 1990) and missed them all this year due to my first kid. But last year the best were Pixies by far. Check em out.
