Not sure if this has been asked so asking now.
As we enter into a second wave, Spain and France have seen a significant rise in infection rates. Italy, not so much but early days.
Germany seems to have kept it relatively low and it looks like remaining that way during the 2nd wave too. How have they managed to do this?

I shouldn't think all women prime ministers have been successful (it's possible May would have been no better than Boris, though she could hardly have been worse), but the likes of Erna Solberg, Tsai Ing-Wen, Mette Frederiksen, Sanna Marin, Jacinda Ardern and Katrín Jakobsdóttir - and Angela Merkel - have fared markedly better than most male leaders.
