Instead of running around like headless chickens looking for a vaccine for every virus that comes along, may be we should look at the causes and tackle that problem. A lot of people either don't care, or completely dismiss climate change, or just hope it will go away, if they turn the other way. It won't be long before we are all scratching our heads wondering, and complaining about flooding again this year, and may be that's the only time, it hits home with many ( when it directly affects you).
During the full lock down the planet started to recover in many ways, so there's your proof if you really need it.
I dare say I will get it in the neck for mentioning climate change, but sadly that's how many respond to such, and that's why it will continue and get worse. And NO i don't approve of disrupting, creating problems in different parts of the country with over the top demonstrations. But we are not putting enough effort into curing the problem thats creating the viruses, are we?

Johnny...did you not look at the pictures of the beaches without tourist. The clips of dolphins surfing etc. I think the most worrying thing in this world is ignorance and stupidity. Why do people have to be told to cut the straps on their face masks in case they end up in our rivers and seas? I believe the world of 'cheap' is going to have to end if we're going to help...

I'm no marine biologist but I'm reasonably sure
that dolphins are partial to a bit of fish.
Quite right, TC. Didn't have any viruses before the Industrial Revolution.
Except, maybe, leprosy.
Oh, and measles and small-pox of course.
I won't mention the Black Death in case there are any pedants waiting to pounce.
