Suggestions For A Transparent Filler

Have scraped the car wing mirror. Basically still ok, but the plastic cover going over the indicator bit now has a small hole. I don't want the fuss/expense of trying to remove it and buying a replacement; so I was hoping someone could suggest a transparent filler I could use to simply seal it and keep the rain out.

Had considered layers of superglue, but something meant for the job would be better, especially if it was a single application. Does anyone have any suggestions ? (Google and others don't seem to understand the meaning of "transparent" :-( )

It worked on my caravan to cover a small hole. Simpler than messing about with fillers.

Google (or search Amazon for example) for "clear plastic cement", and use whatever you choose to stick a small clear plastic patch over it.

Clear plastic of varying strengths and thicknesses is widely available these days in packaging.

Ok, just ordered Clear Parts cement. The caulk, although attractive, seemed expensive for a small hole. So if the cement fails, might try for the tape next. Will BA the cement (until it's been tried and failed) ;-)

Halfords sell packs of tape with three different colours for these kind of problems.
