Saturday. A wonderful night's sleep, I feel refreshed and ready for the day...on second thoughts, I've got mount ironing to do, so perhaps not! I usually listen to one or other of the Navy lark tapes I have. they are old I know, bur still good clean fun. HMS Troutbridge and her crew getting into all manner of scrapes. They always have me smiling!

Yes LJ, it feels quite cool but we are heading into October , I've got a few things I can get on with today, two of my neighbours are off to live in Spain on Oct 1st ( they were on A place in the sun) I've done them a nice picture to hang in the Villa they bought, it's a combination of the Gateshead Angel, the Tyne Bridge and the Newcastle United badge, as a small reminder of home

Bright blue skies here and sunshine but the wind is starting to get a bit chilly. Not sure what is on the cards yet but am sure I will find something.
