Bluetooth Transmitter With Display

I need a bluetooth transmitter which DISPLAYS what devices are available.

My ‘Golvery’ transmitter is fine, but doesn’t display what is near.

My new Fender Newport only connects to a transmitter where you can choose to make the connection.

Any suggestions for. BT transmitter which shows what’s in range?

I want to plug a transmitter into the headphone socket of my TV. When I do this I can connect to my Sony SRS Z5, which just links to any nearby BT transmitter.

However, the same set up but with a Fender Newport doesn’t connect, as the Fender wants you to ‘choose Fender’ on your transmitter.

My transmitter doesn’t have the function of choosing the device.

The Fender connects fine to my Mac because the Mac DOES show a list of incoming BT signals.

So at risk of repetition, I need a BT transmitter (no, not my phone) which I can leave attached to my TV, and which has a DISPLAY.

OK I see your problem. Have you tried making the FN the only bluetooth device just to see if the transmitter connects?

i did a search for "blue tooth transmitter with display" on Ebay, lots came up. You should be able to find one that does what you need.

Yes to isolating it, and no joy.

I’ll have a go on ebay, although some (most) are a bit vague about what is displayed.

Check that the Bluetooth version on your transmitter is compatible with the Fender or that could be the issue.

TheChair. Came 30 mins ago, 15 mins later up and running.

2 point type for the instructions, and has to be powered from a USB, but small annoyances compared with having it paired so easily.
