Iphone Not Ringing When Locked.
9 Answers
I cannot understand why it will not ring when the phone is locked. I have checked and the Do Not Disturb is not on. However under this section there is an option of Silence - when iPhone is locked which is ticked. I did not tick this, but it seems to be blocking calls even though Do Not Disturb is not on. I cannot seem to untick it, have tried rebooting, any ideas? Thanks.

"There is a toggle switch (so tiny you can barely see it) above the Volume Up/down buttons. If you slide it back to front it enables the sounds to be activated".

Are we talking about the switch above the volume up and down buttons which turns the ringer on or in vibrate mode. I have the ringer on which means it is slid to the front and it works as long as the iPhone is not locked. When a person is ringing me when my iPhone is locked they get no sound their end. I cannot see any other switches on the side of the iPhone. Thanks.

1. Restart your iPhone.
2. Turn off the "Do Not Disturb" button on the settings of the iPhone.
3. Try out turning up the volume.
4. Set another ringtone.
5. Set your phone to the factory mode. (data loss)
6. Use professional iOS system recovery tools, for instance, TunesKit iOS System Repair to fix the iOS system.
