rover radio unlock code

just bought rover 100, has new battery, now asking me for unlock code. checked back of radio,no joy,chcked psaperwork nothing been wrote down? please help

Hi,
I used to work for a Rover dealer and any authorised MG/Rover parts supplier should be able to get your code. You've probably got it by now, but you will need to get the long radio serial number off the side of the radio unit and probably your V5 doc to prove the car is yours. We didn't charge, but some might.
