Graphics Card Worry
4 Answers
I bought a HIS X1600XT IceQ Turbo Dual DL-DVI 256MB GDDR3 PCIe (clock 595-650, memory 1300-1600 as u can overclock it without breaching warrenty) well i have it set to fan speed 100% and the core and memory on the lowest speeds, as this cards powerful enough for me i dont need to crank it up. well when i got it, for the first couple of weeks the highest it peaked was about 42-45'C when running one of the most graphically demanding games out (elder scrolls oblivion) but recently its been topping up to 50-52'C and i worry thats unhealthy temp for a card. anyone got any ideas how i can lowers this? (i have 4 fans in my pc, all 120mm so its well airated, even the cpu peaks at a mere 32) and graphics card coolers or anything? you might have to look it up on google to see the design of my card, cos im pretty sure most coolers wudnt be compatible as mine has its own fan/wind tunnel/exhaust/heatsink lol. thanks for taking the time to read :P
