Help needed to find a horror book.

I am looking for a book I read a few years ago, but I can't remember the title or author...it's about some people that own a bar and they have a man working for them who is actually a member of a werewolf-like tribe. They are fighting off another tribe of these creatures with the help of a spirit/ghost. There is also a beast eating souls in the spirit world. I believe that the authours first/last name may be Richard but I could be wrong...Would be gateful for any ideas of what this book could be, Thanks
