It's China's fault.

They gave us Covid 19, leading to missing seeing grandchildren. After a long gap, we arranged to meet up with them. Arrived at meeting-up point, Mrs Arrods couldn't wait to exit the car, caught her foot in her handbag, fell over and smashed her wrist on the floor ending up in A&E. :-( The only 'good' thing was that she was in and out of hospital in less than 2 hours, despite having to have her x-rays retaken. Doesn't look like any bones broken but awaiting a call from the consultant to confirm.

Thanks all. Doctor has just called. Nothing broken. Keep the splint on until wrist feels better. He’ll call back in 2 weeks to check on progress - which I thought was nice.
Meanwhile - back at the grandchildren....
My best to Mrs Arrods.
^ Ditto.
Hope she’s not in too much pain x

Thanks Smow. She’s off the painkillers now and is much better.
