Does anyone know what this is? I am reading an Australian book and they're having a picnic by the water and 'there's ginger beer, staggerjuice, and hot flasks of tea'. I thought maybe beer cos it makes you 'stagger' when you're drunk? Any ideas?

Stagger-juice is Australian slang for strong alcoholic drink
