what to wear with grey....

I bought some drainpipe grey trousers on the weekend, they were in the sale for �10 and apparently grey is in this autumn so i thought they were a great bargin!
only thing is now i would like to wear them out - but what with?! i have some gold and diamondy shoes from faith i could wear them with, and they're more a browny grey than bluey grey. but what top? any ideas welcome!
i'm very conscious of not looking like i've been at the office so something quite sexy, but also i don't like showing my belly (its not pretty!) i know this mustard colour is in too, but all the mustard colour tops are very officey. a gold or silver top would go with them too - but where do i find one of them?! have scoured ebay but don't really know what am looking for....!
anyone with inspiration please help!

Try River Island if you have one near you. I went there on Saturday and they had loads of grey drainpipes, there was also a lot of stripey tops with printed gold or silver fronts very funky.
most colours go with grey, try black and matichin stuff like your belt and bag to your shoes if all else fails. My friend has got the best gold bag from New Look and it looks fab with her grey trews and gold belt. You could also try bead necklaces, golds and silver are really in too....hope this helps a bit....bargain on the trousers though!!!
