I must agree with the others .. if part of your driveway needs to be repaired or lifted (for whatever reason), sections of the block paving can be removed as required but all of the PCD would have to come up. There are some really lovely looking paving blocks around - one of my favourites is Tegula - it gives an instant *aged* appearance and comes in a range of different colours. Have a peek at the Marshall's catalogue for inspiration.

However, the important bit is getting the drive properly laid by a contractor who knows what they are doing - have a look at other driveways in your locality and if they look nice, knock on the door and ask who did the work.
