Until someone you know dies from it!

Just had a phone call from a friend to tell me her sister has died from covid.
Taken into hospital last week with breathing problems. Diagnosed with covid, put into an induced coma, ventilated and died last night. (switched ventilator off)
Makes you realise eh?

And I was complaining about wearing a mask!

that's not entirely true, OG. If someone you were talking to a week ago dies of an infectious disease, you'd be wise to wonder if you've been infected yourself.

yeah I did wonder about isolating after a negative test but hey this is AB ! (*)

( and it is possible - if it is deemd to early to test so that the negative test doesn't really er count)

so long as they are under 50 it looks OK
but as a nephew said - it does make you feel terrible
