I noticed hundreds of pin prick size things on the leaves of one my lime tree plants - I thought at first it was dust or something like that
Yesterday I carefully wiped down each of the leaves with warm water and a sponge
Just had a look today and whatever it is has returned to some of the leaves - not in anything like the same coverage yet. Should I wipe down again? Also - if I have to do this every day can I now remove some of the leaves (I’m figuring as it’s autumn it might be a good time to prune) The steam is about 15 inches high and the leaves cover all the plant from top to bottom
Finally - it’s situated in my living room right next to another smaller lime plant - shall I move them apart?

yes separate them and don't put either of them near other plants. If wiping is getting rid of them then wipe as often as you can, don't let whatever it is build up before you remove them. Can't comment on pruning. If you can post a picture of the infestation, that would help.
