Sky Broadband Vs Bt

It's a very attractive offer from Sky but I'd like to hear about any problems.
Sky tell me that if I change to them I can still keep my .btinternet.com email address. Is that right?

GMail is really easy and I use it to manage my other email accounts.
Of course the initial headache with changing email address (no matter which service you use) is telling everyone who needs to know that you have changed email address. This is why it is so important to do it at least a few weeks before you switch ISP - it gives you time to collect your old emails.
Why not give it a go and see how you get on? There is no reason why you can't have more than one email address, in fact there are lots of advantages. It's free so there is no reason not to

We have Sky TV but BT Broadband . We were going to get Sky Broadband too, but the technician who came to instal Sky TV said we should stick with BT as they own the cables and if anything goes wrong you will get fixed quicker. This had proved to be correct, and we can now get super speed -well as fast as you can get here in the sticks -but our neighbour who is with Sky BB hasn't be able to yet.
