Thanks all.
ive actually only had it cauterised once - it lasted a long time, but i guess the skin got thinner over time
i have also had 2 nose ops since - first for a bent nose & problems with breathing - second due to the catrilage basically collapsing and splitting, it looked weird and developed dents - apparently a known issue after nose surgey
they also made it smaller etc while doing it so obbious removed some bone and cartilage
its not a good job really, i think on the second op they didnt account for the bone that'd been taken away the first time on one side and chopped too much, leaving a weird dent,
it also seems to have a little flap that flips when i breathe and is generally 'annoying'.
the varicose vein was caused by many years of being allergic to cat and having 2 - and also allergies to dust, mould, feather etc
but its better than it was.
the second one was about 4 years ago though.
ive tried vaseline, - and lip balm, but it doesnt last at all - it warms up and just runs out - thats why i thought about something that 'sets' rather than melts
given my irritation with my nose - are there any benefits to opening the septum a bit?
