The history of this is a scambaiter on YouTube - ScammerPayback - was asked to send a cheque to an address provided by the scammer he was baiting.

Since the address was at the other side of America from him, he got another scambaiter - TrilogyMedia - to visit the address.

When they turned up at the address instead of finding somebody linked to the scammer, they found a victim of the scammer, who was receiving cheques from other victims, all the time thinking she was getting her money back.

As a result of their collaboration they started a crowd-funder and got more than what she'd lost.

ScammerPayback has now released this follow up video in which the scamee Susan discusses how she got scammed.

Watch this and pass it on to protect others.

That is a powerful video, Tuvok. That poor woman has been through the mill. It's good to know that she got some help.

Well done those scambaiters.
