before Amazon offers a refund, I have sent back via the courier Hermes an item
and haven't had a refund. Its been 10 days and no news. How does one contact Amazon to ask what is the holdup.
It mighnt not be Hermes problem. These courier's are normally pretty quick and the tracking system usualy works. You need to check whether they delivered back to Amazon, then you'l know whether to chase up the seller or Hermees
If you'd prefer to speak to us, you can call us 8am-6pm Monday to Saturday on 0330 808 5456 - make sure you have your tracking code or 8 digit calling card number to hand. You'll get the most up to date information on your parcel. If you still need help you can speak to one of our customer service agents.
have tried the number endless times its still busy signal. Can't find the way to contact them as Pixie suggested, will have to see if i can get Hermes on the blower.
Try Amazon live chat. It is very efficient. I have never had a problem with refunds from Amazon or third party seller. Have you checked in "my orders" and did you contact Amazon before sending package back as they need to authorise the return
You shouldnt need a hermes phone number, theres no need to ring them. You can track your return online much easier. If you took your parcel to a hermes depot/collection/drop off point you should of been giving a tracking number on your receipt. Just log in
I ordered some pretty expensive tools via Amazon. I was away from home during the weekend and got a text that my parcel had safely been delivered to my address on Friday morning. It was a week earlier than expected. When I arrived home late last Sunday evening it was just sitting on my doorstep leaning against the front door. Some 'Safe' delivery ! If I was dishonest I could claim no delivery by Hermes.
i finally got a call back. They will refund me on two items so i should get 60 quid back into my account. Thanks for the various pointers, will remember them in future.
