Vw Beetle Trailing Arm

one of the trailing arms keeps slipping of the torsion bar, there is no sign of wear on either. bar or pin, any ideas please

I assume that your car is the old style classic Beetle, could be that the spring plates ( the part that the torsion bar fits into on the wheel end ) if that is the case then I'd change the torsion bar and spring plate for a new or refurbed set.
