my dog has somthing on his arm pit.

my dog has a scab like thing on his arm pit, he used to have a lump there but its developed into this thing, buts its not a scab its more like mole it just looks like a scab, ive seen it on old people before its somtimes skin cancer or a growth can any one help me?
