Restrictions change on Dec 2nd, so.... Mrs Dag going to hairdresser on 2nd, but... is that the last day? meaning restrictions still apply all day until Dec 3rd begins just after midnight? Many sources on the net don't agree!

We have here continually changing legislation backed by the threat of very hefty fixed penalties (far heftier than would be imposed if the defendant took the matter to court – a fact acknowledged by the National Police Chiefs’ Council only last week). In this case the hairdresser could face a demand of at least £1,000. With that in mind, the very least the scribes who are tasked with getting all this together should do is to get the bloody dates sorted out. A couple of us on here have just identified a straightforward discrepancy with the dates which the PM has broadcast to the nation. We’re not paid to do so. Those who are – and there are enough of them and they’re paid enough - should get it right.

A government that can’t govern. Ministers not fit for purpose. We moan, and look at each other and obey. This debacle has gone on way too long. We have no leader worthy of the title. MPs are busy passing the buck, keeping their heads down, or ignoring the obvious. What a shoddy nation we have become in so short a time.
