Does the DWP provide a breakdown of what and how much they are giving you in the first payment? How far it might be back dated etc?
I received a first payment yesterday...it's much larger than I expected, and I've no idea what my future monthly amount will be. It would help to know just for budgeting purposes.

That's great you've got it sorted now - these little victories sure brighten the day. I had been emailing my water company about the rise in my bill to no avail, and 2 days ago I got a letter from them apologising for their lack of response and that they had credited £40 to my account to say sorry!
