New England style herb bread
1 Answers
On a recent visit to New England I had some fantastic herb bread. I've found several recipes for it since i've been back but none of them are right, the bread's not even the right colour!
The bread I had was made from mixed herbs & cinnamon was definately in there but the restaurant wouldn't tell me any more! It's kind of orangey in colour.
Any ideas?

Do you think the bread had pumpkin in it (hence the color)? Pumpkin is a very popular ingredient in New England cooking, and it's often paired with cinnamon (and cardamon). Maybe someone near the restaurant could go back there and snag a sample for analysis.
