oh yes sorry there isnt a need for a serial no on a gearbox

You can sell what you like from a car as long you know it has not been stolen. The question should be is it legal to fit a gearbox to a car with no serial number?

As far as I am aware, having stripped a few cars in the past, gearboxes do not have a serial number
