When it came to getting quotes it was from 2500 to 880. She is fully covered with Egg Insurance, It needs a lot of searching about. Then your next problem was that you can not pay monthly until you are 18 as it is classed as credit, they wouldn't even let it be paid through my bank account for her. So when we tried to pay online we couldn't either because she was also to young for her own credit card, but with a call direct to them we could pay them on mine the full payment. So you not only do you need enough to by your car but also the insurance money up front to.
I'm afraid your insurance bill is going to be ing very high. One way of bringing it down is to take extra lessons, once you've passed your test ... I believe it covers motoray driving etc. Maybe like a mini-advanced driving course. Another thing is to restrict when you'll use the car eg not at night. Good luck with passing your test.
my car is a vauxhall corsa 1.0i and the cheapest i could get with 0 years no claims, at age 19 was 1500.
try Virgin Car insurance, they dont charge extra for paying monthly.
when u get quotes on the internet, that seem really good and then they give u a number to ring and buy it, it usually goes up because they just assume things that aren't true (dont know why). also expect to pay a big deposit.
