It might have been true 25 years ago that full Sky would get you everything, but not now.

Rugby Union screening rights are split between SKY, BT Amazon and S4C. The same with other Spirts.

I currently run my television watching from my iPad.
I have NowTV App (so I can buy games I want to watch), Amazon, Netflix, ITV Hub, 4OD and iPlayer. All have live and streaming, and I can cast everything to my TVs.

We have three boxes with our Virgin set up - lounge, bedroom and son's bedroom. He's the one who watches football, we watch rugby, cricket and golf. You do get BT Sport included with Virgin where it is an extra with Sky I think. Watching the cricket at the moment from South Africa. Getting jealous of the lovely sunny weather.

Same here Baker's as ref the Cricket. "She who must be obeyed" is an avid cricket fan and watches just about all of it. Knows more about the goings on than I do. She has just settled down to watch the T20(after painting the bathroom) and has just said that it looks absolutely lovely there.

Usually whatever channels you pay for you can guarantee the game you want to see will be on the one channel you don't pay for. Mind I did get to see my local team play on TV yesterday the Exeter Chiefs and a good game it was too unless you were a Bath fan. Love the style of play the Chiefs have a bit like the Barbarians very rarely take a kick at goal with penalties. Kick for touch and try to get the seven points instead of the three.
