Had the same thing yesterday. I was told my call would be answered in 4 minutes. Like you, it was actually 20 minutes before I spoke to someone.

If you have a pay as you go it usually uses up all your minutes so you get cut off as soon as some one says “ Your speaking to ............ .

bit like closing bank braches - they dont want you to go to the bank branches

I agree and I also hate with a vengeance when, after waiting an age, an automated voice comes on and suggests you try later and promptly cuts you off!! The frustration of that knows no bounds ..
