Digital TV problem

My TV which has the freeview thingy in it when you buy it (sorry not very well versed in the correct lingo!) has suddenly started going off the signal and pixellating on most of the channels. I have checked and rechecked to make sure all the leads and aerials and things are firmly pushed in, not sure what I can do now .. I am assuming it is my TV thought it is a brand new Sony, unless there could be a universal problem in receiving the signal, which I doubt. Any ideas anyone ???? Thanks in advance.

My tv did this recently - I took apart the aerial socket and put it back together, and it all worked much better afterwards!

Well it was moved recently further back, so I think that might be the problem so I will give that a try, thanks
