Yesterday I was looking at some old photos of both Caspar and Sally...when they were in their prime. I just started crying...i felt so damn sad not having them here.

On top of that, I sometimes have "flashbacks" of Sammi going after me...then I think of other ways he *might* have been unpredictable.
Mind, I'm ok most of the time, but sometimes I feel a bit overwhelmed. It's been over 3 months... or, only 3 months...

Caspar was huge, Frankie is only about five kg. He is annoyingly vocal these days. He is fifteen now.

I was more upset after my previous furry family died than I ever was for any human.

Frankie says ... it's time for bed! I have to go and see my GP in the morning.

I can understand your pain. I lost Harvey around November some years back - my brother was dying at the time and eventually died in February - God forgive me = my heart was breaking over Harvey and all that he meant to me - I just couldn't bear it ie - the running about the house, feeding him and walking him in other words for me - looking after him. After he died (the dog) I found I wasn't getting up out of bed until 2.00pm and I knew then I was in serious trouble. The Tuesday my brother was buried - I don't know how and when - but looked up Gumtree and found my Maxie who gave me the reason to get up again. But he was in a terrible state, bleeding from sucking at his paws and his side, vomiting everywhere and sh ng everywhere too. Very ill dog but I don't know where I got the wheretheall, beautiful dog, affectionate, - even my sister has said he is that human - we wish he could "talk" to us. Get one soon Pasta.

I think he was mostly fur. Daughter was convinced he had Maine Coon in him.

It sounds like Maxie was your lifesaver jj x
Beautiful photo of Sally and Caspar, Pasta.

My previous post should have said just //under// 4 years. He died one week before Christmas and all his presents were under the tree.
I understand you well, I sympathize with you.I also have 1 dog of a small breed, she is already 8 years old and I am afraid that he is already old, I really do not want her to die it is very painful when your best friend passes away ... But I have a lot of pleasant and funny stories with him - and I am glad to share them with others. Do you have any questions about the type of whether I feed my dog a lot or is it healthy food for him?
