Yeah, but it came with potato salad though ;-)
Does that mean we can open our pub?
Well, it's an interesting way to start building a pub, I suppose. Most people with start with bricks and mortar but getting the scotch eggs onto plates has to be a good first step too, in my opinion ;-)

Gness we could open a bar straddling the border!
As long as it's not a hard border, Martin...I'm not straddling anything that's going to hurt!

Lol so many responses all of which would be removed
Haggis Scotch Eggs? They sound fab
Talking of "substantial meals" my husband's colleagues went to a pub in Kidderminster which doesn't do food so they charge extra for the drinks and then fetch the patrons a portion of chips from the chippie next door.

The police have visited a couple of times recently, just to make sure the customers are acceptably "spread out"

:-)
How many glasses of wine consumed? (or beer)....

Oh Rocky they were and so simple, let me know if you want the recipe
Rocky, most good Delis do black pudding or chorizo variants now.
Yes please Martin.

LCG, if only. Delis round here are like hens teeth. If I knew enough about the game I’d open one. Though I don’t like stinky cheese, so that could be a problem ;0)
Ha ha, Rocky. Would you believe we've had a bit of a cheese and wine night tonight. We had some really stinky Brie.

For the last 5 days my OH has been opening the Fridge Door and saying, "What is that *** smell?"
I don’t blame him, it makes me nauseous. My cheese nights consist of cheddar, feta, mozzeralla, Philadelphia, Le Roule and the smoked cheese in a sausage shape.

I do however, have some grapes with it :0)
I hope the Scotland does not become independent. I don't like foreign food! :-)
I must be "nose blind"...I don't notice stinky cheeses in the fridge.
Coming home on the bus with them is a different matter.
My smell and taste has gone since I had coronavirus. I've got no appetite either.
