I read this story but can’t find the link now. Still, it made me laugh so I thought I'd share it.

Thieves fleeing police left their dog behind. Unfortunately for them he was microchipped.

LB & Margie, since the police collected the dog and had a vet check him over, I imagine he has been returned to his home - where clearly at least one responsible dog lover resides - the one who cared enough to have him microchipped. That, to me, is the rational conclusion.

Probably naomi, I always feel sorry for dogs who have to live with low life scum.
