well i last posted on the 23rd to tell you all about the collie bitch my husband and i took in.i told you that she wasn't fitting in and we got her another home.here comes the next instalment. i was a bit unsure of her going without giving her a decent chance and the day she was meant to go my husband was home all day with her and bonded with her and vice versa.he put foot down and she is staying with us forever. all of our animals esp. sam are in love with her now and as for the livestock worry she totally ignores them.she is settling in very well although she is a little dazed at the good food new people and new lifestyle she has so patience is a virtue.we named her koda and vet says she is fine although she is over 2.5kg underweight and has a few sores from sleeping on a concrete floor but she getting there.so we are delighted to have her and for those that thought we were a bit harsh on our friend we explained it was in the dogs best interest to stay with us and not in a one bed.flat.

I tried to give my cat, George, back to the Cats Protection after a week. I was off work with depression, got the cat on the rebound after my dog died and he was an older cat and set in his ways, he was a spiteful monster.
I even emailed the Samaritans and got myself in a mess.
It all worked out though, with work on both sides. He was still the psycho tom cat from hell- but I loved him dearly, and he loved me at meal times.
He is recently deceased at about 18 years of age, I had him only five of those. I like to think that he had a happy final few years.
Good luck with your mutt, they are brilliant companions.
Susan - between cats at present.
