My daughter has had a positive covid test and has several of the expected symptoms, however, she has now got swollen glands in her neck. She says she looks like a hamster. I'm assuming this is just a deviation as she has the infection, has anyone else come across this, please?

I am not a healthcare professional but have had covid-19 and can confirm in my case there were supplementary symptoms not associated with Covid. Swollen lymph nodes usually occur as a result of infection from bacteria or viruses so it would be fairly common, I would think to have swollen glands when suffering from a virus such as covid-19

No I haven't come across this personally.
My first thought is mumps but with a positive Covid test one must assume that the glands are a manifestation of Covid.
