So there's been a few chats here recently about what paranormal events can be caused by. People have differing opinions.

Almost all, though, have had some sort of unexplained event.

Let's hear (one) of yours....and what you believe (personally) the cas was. we'll start with ONE each (in the interests of brevity lol). As (if) the chat goes on we can share others ....I've had a few experiences.

I'll kick it off with (one) of mine. Totally true!

I was woken by husband tapping my leg urgently. Not a dream. Physical! Husband was in ICU in a hospital 20 mins away! Nowhere near to our own bed. I was running out the door to get to the hospital when ICU called saying my husband was in cardiac arrest. I believe it was God (or one of his angels) telling me to get there ASAP.

Fascinating - thanks for sharing both of you! And although none of us will ever know what is behind these "things" there is something - the things Karl and guess just mentioned cannot be simply coincidence. Coincidences I believe in - they happen all the time - but what you guys mention is too detailed for it to be co incidence. Whatever is the reason behind these things it's ....well just weird!

Gness*** (not guess)
Eve, who said its silly?
Well it wasnt me.
None of you will call this paranormal but just pure luck and coincidence but nothing will convince me that something or someone spiritual wasn't helping me. Years ago my mother gave me a plain gold curb chain bracelet. From that day I never ever took it off for anything. She died 10 years ago and it remained very special to me. Then a couple of years ago I suddenly noticed it wasn't on. Because it had become a part of me I couldn't even pinpoint when it had gone missing. I called every shop I'd visited in the previous few days, searched the house and car from top to bottom, I even got my husband to tip out the full garden waste bin as I had done some pruning, searched my workplace, asked the cleaners, checked the grounds and car park but it was truly lost. I kept thinking where could it be, it was metal, it must exist somewhere. I went on holiday to Menorca and often thought when lazing on the beach where could it have gone to. We returned from that holiday and once home from the airport I went into the garden to have a ciggy, it was a lovely sunny day and as I sat on the garden bench smoking I looked down at the decking, the sun was just right and I saw the tiniest glint between the deck planks. I stared at it, there was only one precise position I could sit in when it shone. Went and got a knife from the kitchen, put it between the planks and fished out of course my bracelet. I know something was showing me where it was. That's all I have to say.

Piggynose....ah I re-read... I though you were saying my question was silly but...rereading you were prob weren't. Another classic example of why written comms can be misunderstood ay.

And prudie if you are convinced it was something beyond coincidence then thats all that matters. It's back to that gut feeling again really.

I have never experienced anything remotely ‘paranormal’ and don’t expect to in the future. Load of ***** in my opinion.
Living in a hot Med country we had just a sheet over us but during the night when OH had been to the loo he would pull the blanket over me, tuck it round me and pat my shoulder. A couple of years later he said he didn't do that, that I was the one who pulled the blanket up, tucked it in and patted his shoulder! Another couple of years later we were in another country and met a couple for the first time, it transpired that they had lived in the same flat and she asked me Did you get tucked in at night? They had had the exact same experience.
Zebo has just reminded me of something I'd not thought of for years.
My first born was a lovely child but unfortunately born without the need for much sleep...unlike his mum.
As soon as he was in his own bed after three or four hours he'd be in with us chatting and wanting to play. Pretty exhausting.
One morning when he'd be about three he was missing. I woke up on my own...bliss...but worrying.
I dashed into his room and he was playing with a little car, still tucked up in bed.
When I asked why he'd not come into us he said he tried to but the lady kept putting her hands on his chest and making him lie down.
Only happened once but I'd have given the lady free board and lodgings if she'd stayed around for a couple of years... :-)
I've mentioned this before. OH and I stood up from sofa to go to bed. A piece of pot pourri flew the air from the other end of the room between us. So glad he was there too as no one would believe me.
Had quite a few other incidents, including being slapped on backsidewhen I lived in a 300 year old cottage next to a haunted battle site.
