Smart Television

When I tried to insure my Tv and told the lady the make was smart which is the name that comes up when I turn it on she told me to find the right name .is there another name which is not on the Tv Thank you.

On the outer frame of the tv should be a manufacturer name eg Sony, Panasonic etc

What does it say when you turn it on? The make of my TV comes up.

The make should also be on the remote control

Look on the middle of bottom rim where the legs come up and join the TV. The name is usually there.

On the back there should be a label with the make and model number.

‘Smart’ is a type, not a brand.

Like ‘Black & White’ was not a make.

If there is no logo on the front, there should be words on the back with the manufacturers info.

Thanks for all your help. I found a wee bit with the magnifying glass that says Samsung ,so that is it.

You'll probably be asked for the model number as well.

You might get that from the menus on the tv.
