First time I have ever seen her unsure of her maths calculation - nevertheless she was correct

The words that some of these young players come up with are amazing.Re Rachel Riley,a few months ago I spoke to Kate Humble when she came to the store where I work and she says that Rachel Riley does the maths in real time.

The one where she was unsure of today was a real stinker - dividing two huge numbers

One of the producers is a former Countdown champion, so sometimes he talks Rachel through the solution.

I have seen a couple of occasions where they have had to return to Rachel after a few minutes to give her time with a seriously complex problem.

I have no idea how she can see numbers like that - a real gift.

I'm not talking about when she has more time to consider how to get the generated number

Today she was going through the verification of the contestant's workings out and came up with a stinker of a division .

She even asked the contestant if it was right and he said he didn't know .
She then said we will go with that

There was nothing said about it afterwards , so it was correct

As I said it was the first time I have seen her unsure of a +/-/÷/*
