For those of you who are interested, it's 10 days now until The Mandalorian returns to Disney+. Best thing to come out of Disney Star Wars yet, and the second season looks set to be even better, with a wider reach, a chance to explore new stories and expand existing ones, in the company of Baby Yoda and Mando.

Anyone else excited?!

Wow loved it this week, and yes really looking forward to Filoni's episode:)
I can't compare it to Firefly, never got round to watching it, heard it was axed, with no satisfactory ending, before I started it so didn't bother!

I was shocked that today's episode wasn't just filler but instead had huge plot implications. This show is evolving so quickly.

Really enjoyed it, Rosario Dawson was excellent. Nearly cried near the end too!

I was surprised they had Ahsoka look a bit more like her younger self than the Rebels version -- younger even than she looked in my avatar -- but I'm sure that this was a deliberate design choice; maybe Rebels Tano looks good animated but doesn't come across so convincingly in live-action, or maybe it was too unwieldy for action sequences and the like.

It's pretty clear that they're planning for plenty more live-action stuff, though, given that name-drop near the end :O

Sets up some interesting conflicts for the future, and also I'm wondering if now there's a good chance of seeing a canon meeting between A and L?

Wow! What a finale! I nearly cried.
A and L certainly a possibility, although much more interaction than we saw foray may be challenging to pull off convincingly.
Lots of story threads to follow up on, lots to think about while we wait.

It's just been such a great season, and promises to deliver so much more in the coming years from all the spin-offs. Not to mention the possibility of fixing, or at least giving a proper build-up to, the plot disasters that were the sequels.
