I have just received this.
I’m not even a customer of Lloyds bank.
Unfortunately I clicked on the link - is this a scam and should I be wary?

I had a text from Lloyds also. I rang them. It’s a scam if it’s the same one I got. It was about a device being attached to my account. I have deleted the text.

Sorry!!!!
It’s this...

LloydsBank: You have successfully paired a new device, Huawei P40 Pro at 13:45 on 22/12/20. If this was NOT you, cancel immediately: www.deviceauthlloydb.com

So if I just delete it should be ok?
Did you enter any info on the www link you opened??
I got caught ten days ago. Win a mobile phone...Bank was good but had to close one current account, open another and wait for a new bank card. Pain in the whatsit. Should have known better. There is one thing I was unaware of. I asked the bank to prevent any payments to the payee but they explained, as the scammers had my details, they could use any name they wanted to get money out of my account.

No info entered, because I don’t have an account with Lloyds.
This probably sounds naive but I have never understood that, when I buy something from the net on my bank card, and with the security code, what there is to stop the store or staff from taking more money from my account?
^Buying an online purchase is automated...no human involved.
It also says lloyd rather than lloyds
Yes. It is a scam. Hope you didn't give them any info?
