seatbelts

A Friend has a camper van but an older model in immaculate condition there is room for 2 people in front but there is room for 4 to sleep.Would it be legal to have just waist seat belts fitted to carry another 2 in the back.As there are windows all round it wouldn't be possible to fit full seatbelts.

Yes but you don't even need to fit any to be legal.

Thanks for replies.It is a C reg and only done about 40,000 miles and it is fitted with belts in the front.
