In The first episode of season 2 of scrubs there is a guy who JD and Turk walk buy on a bench who begins singing a song with his guitar, does anyone know the name of this guy a=or the song?

This question piqued my curiosity so after downloading the episode and watching enough of it I was pleasantly surprised to see Colin Hay the lead singer of the Band Men at work guest starring. The song in question was an acoustic rendering of their hit Overkill.
