How Do You Fry A Turkey?

Just watching the news and a man from Florida said he was going to fry his turkey!
How on earth do you do that. How long would it take?
I've never fried a whole chicken never mind a whole turkey!

I watched a youtube vid a few years ago where an American man deep fried his turkey outside in an old oil drum. I wouldn't fancy eating it

I watched an episode of "food unwrapped " on c4 the other night where they tested deep frying a turkey against other cooking methods. It came out on top...only took 45 minutes and was moist and juicy.
