Fat People
With the exception of those with a medical condition, fat people are fat because they eat too much and exercise too little.

True or not?
Personally I think it is true - it is not rocket science to work out that if you burn more calories than you take in, weight will be lost.
So, are fat people lazy overeaters?

Everyone knows someone who can eat everything in sight without putting on an ounce - or someone who diets all the time and yet never looks like Kate Moss. Just to rehash something I've said before: my parents were the same size and shape when they married, had exactly the same diet, and got the same amount of exercise (not much). One got fat, the other didn't. Neither was lazy, or energetic; neither was an overeater.
I'm not saying eating or working out won't have some effect, just that they're by no means the only factors. There's more to life than rocket science.

To those who claim it is the fault of the person that they are fat, wait until you are an OAP and see if you still feel the same.
Illnesses, enforced life style changes, having children all have a bearing on your weight.
I eat far less than I did at 20 when I was thin yet I struggle not to put back on the half a stone I lost last winter when I was ill. I rarely eat take away meals, do not snack between meals, do not eat chocolate and sweets or crisps.
I do eat a cake a couple of times a week but I eat no other desserts.
At this time of the year I am eating veg and fruit from my garden and freeze quite a lot for the winter all of which takes exercise.
Yet I sm still fatter than I would like to be.

No its not that simple!
Case in point John Hartson of Celtic football club and Leicester bfore that (i think) He said he used to run 5 miles every day and obviously all his football training and he said he struggled with his weight every day!
He said that if he ate a cheeseburger he put on half a stone!
So while it is mostly fat lazy people, Its not all of them!
