Think of the savings on the money we pay them every year. Don't know how they would survive on their own considering oil revenues are collapsing.

The EU is a body external to our nation that is undemocratic, unelected (save for the near powerless sop of parliament which tends to vote as told on issues they didn't raise), and far too diverse and large to be considered or felt to be a single people deciding matters for themselves. It should be a trading block between nations but instead insists on being a federal block under control of an elite. The UK is the polar opposite of that, just the right size to agree we are one people if with limited local variation, and rationally should be one since it is the coming together of the local islands (as best as can be achieved).
