Emmie - in answer to your question. One friend didn't go because one of the grandchildren with whom she was going to stay had to self-isolate on 23rd Dec because of a school contact - which just proves my original point and justifies my annoyance. The other friend did go so I shall give her a very wide berth for the next 2 weeks.
