Good Morning Early Birds!

Monday. Just looked out the window, it's snowing, but it won't settle. After the storm I went out the back to discover one bin blown over and the contents strewn about, the other one, too heavy to blow over, had the lid open and was full to overflowing with water. That's going to keep me busy for a few days! Something I could definitely do without. But I'm sure there are others with more troubles than me.

I think its worth ringing the GP this afternoon Emmie and ask for a prescription. The first one is taking a while and I'm concerned that it might be stuck in the system somewhere. There might be someone at the surgery and the afternoons are often less busy than the mornings.

maydup, the GP not open today as its still classed as part of the Bank Holiday - they are open tomorrow so will ring them first thing, i called 111 on the 26th and they said they would issue a script to my local boots, which didn't arrive, so will have to wait now till tomorrow for GP opening to see what they can do.

Just a thought, is there another Boots a bigger branch in your vicinity, 111 would probably send it to the nearest large branch which were more likely kept to be open.. worth a phone call to check. You are Russell Square area aren't you? ... Kings Cross or Holborn possibly

rowan, no they said they would send it to local one from me, which is Brunswick square, which is the only one we have,
I phoned them this afternoon after seeing the crises lady, and they said there was nothing in. Will see what GP can do tomorrow.

our Boots locally are open, as said i spoke with a staff member this afternoon, had the script been in would have walked around and collected it.
