Had to go out early this morning and found to my amazement that I had to scrape quite a bit of frost and ice off the car. Very unusual. Took quite a while for the heater to clear the windscreen and the washers remained frozen for about another 30 minutes. Drove in sunshine there and very bright sunshine on the way back. Got back and it poured with rain for about 30 mins and then more sunshine.
Any one get the same?
Or how is your weather?
it was rather grey earlier but then again haven't been out, its blue sky at the moment, but cold, i have the electric fire on which is most unusual for me - i don't have central heating by the way, as i didn't want it when council installed it in the block years ago.
danny - we have got palm trees in the garden and a neighbour (only a mile away) has got a banana tree by his patio. Kept outside all year. Plants in flower in garden at the moment include hebe, cyclamen, daisies and wild garlic. We are at the top of a cliff not exactly sheltered. Gardens in village are sheltered and have all manner of things still flowering.
LJ, I'm a bit north west of you but several things in flower. Hebe, fuchsia, primroses and my lovely scented narcissus. Have had some narcissus from the garden in a vase indoors for a couple of weeks. Lovely scent.
No frost or ice just rain again overnight and cold.
